Nursing Home Week at Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethtown

We had a truly spectacular week of festivities at Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethtown in celebration of Nursing Home Week!

Monday we had a Mexican Fiesta where the residents made black bean and sweet corn guacamole. We later tried our hand at traditional style Mexican dance moves, and we took our turns at busting a piñata.

Tuesday we had a Sock Hop where we enjoyed root beer floats, dancing, hula hooping and a bubble gum blowing contest. We all sat down to socialize while we munched on some very yummy ice cream sundaes.

Thursday we had a rootin’ tootin’ time at the Western Social. Everyone was deputized and enjoyed classic country music, dancing and munching on twice baked potatoes and onion rings.

Friday a group of stakeholders and residents took off to Bowling Green, Kentucky to watch the National Muscle Car Association Drag racing. Residents at the facility enjoyed a blessed day of prayer, celebration and Polish sausage and sauerkraut.

All in all it was a magical week here at Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethtown!
