Tuesday, we joined together for a Mardi Gras party! We celebrated with food, friends, and games. We also learned a bit of interesting information about Mardi Gras.
One thing that stuck out to us is the meaning of Mardi Gras. Mardi is the French word for Tuesday and Gras is the French word for fat. Now we know why this holiday is also called Fat Tuesday. To to off the day, we chowed down on purple pancakes in honor of the traditional pancake race!
